sexist people have always made me furious but recently after really exploring feminist theory, confronting people who are so deeply immersed in a world full of toxic gender roles, patriarchal values, and the beauty myth just make me mourn for all this person could have been; how much happier and balanced they would have been if they hadn’t been raised in this society. the patriarchy negatively affects everyone and especially those who can’t see it.
